Air Velocity Transmitter

The ESF is an airflow transducer which is used for control, monitoring and regulation of airflow speed in ventilation systems.

The TP/ESF-35-2 registers airflow speed according to a thermal principle based on the fact that the cooling action of air increases with airspeed. The TP/ESF-35-2 provides an output of 4 to 20mA or a 0-10V signal corresponding to airflow speeds from 0-8 m/s or 0-16 m/s.

The transducer is delivered with the range set to 0-8 m/s. If jumper SW1 on the PCB is removed the range
0-16 m/s is obtained. The processor based electronics ensure that the output signal is linear and that corrections are made in case of temperature changes. The transducer has a separate 0-10V DC output signal for measurement of the air temperature (0-50.C).
